VEČERY V JAZZU - Čtvrt na smrt + Září

ČTVRT NA SMRT

Jan Vacík started out as a singer-songwriter composing music to lyrics by poet Jiří Charvát, but gradually grew into a full-fledged instrumental ensemble. The work of this "non-folk band" straddles the line between alternative rock, punk, and chanson, with an emphasis on raw expression.

ZÁŘÍ

This band from Zlín focuses exclusively on original songs with Czech lyrics, combining alternative guitar music with melodic pop-rock. The band cites The Cure, Radiohead, and Joy Division as their main sources of inspiration, but they also acknowledge the influence of Priessnitz and Tata Bojs.

The popular Evenings at Jazz are returning for the 2026 spring season—running from January to May and more diverse than ever. Experience great jazz ensembles, well-known bands from the contemporary club guitar scene, and indie-folk singer-songwriter concerts. All this for voluntary admission, allowing visitors to tip the musicians based on how much they enjoy the show. And we know you’ll love it!

For most evenings, we recommend booking a table. You can look forward to a new evening menu, an honest selection of craft beers from Twinberg, and the unique atmosphere of this legendary Olomouc club. We look forward toseeing you!
