Tal’s organic trio has been touring the world and selling out venues since 2014. Some notable venues include The Panama Jazz Festival, The Tel Aviv Jazz Festival, The Bansko Jazz Festival, The S.P.A.C.E club in Chicago and the Lilypad Jazz Club in Boston.
Tal is a recipient of a Downbeat Magazine Award for Outstanding Performance. He possesses a highly expressive, lyrical and harmonious musical style that expresses a range of feelings and emotions from longing and compassion to ceerful playfulness.
Important trio collaborators include saxophonists Dayna Stephens (Sunnyside & Criss Cross) and George Garzone.
Some of Tal’s Main inspirations include artists such as Charlie Haden, Antonio Carlos Jobim, bassist Avishai Cohen and Chet Baker.
Tal’s debut album “DANIA” featuring trumpeter Avishai Cohen was released in the spring of 2017.
Tal grew up in a farm in the Judea mountains near Jerusalem. From one side, Tal’s father’s family immigrated to Israel in the from Kurdistan bringing with them the music and tribal dances of the region and from the other side, his mother’s family fled from Nazi Germany in 1936 exposing Tal to the world of classical music and the European culture.
From a very early age it was clear to Tal that music can bring people together by its power to evoke universal feelings, leading him to pursue a career in music.
Since completing his master’s degree at the New England Conservatory in Boston in 2008, Tal shared the stage with some of the world’s leading jazz musicians such as Danilo Perez, trumpeter Avishai Cohen, Jerry Bergonzy, Joanne Brackeen, Liz Wright and many other outstanding performers.
Tal has performed at some of the world’s most leading venous and clubs including the Regattabar and the Berklee Performance Center (Boston), The Jazz Showcase (Chicago), Miles Café (NY) and Festivals such as the Panama Jazz Festival, The Tel Aviv Jazz Festival, The Bansko Jazz Festival (Bulgaria), The Philippines Jazz Festival, The Israeli World & Jazz Festival in Chicago, The Campeche Jazz Festival and the Puebla Jazz Festival in Mexico
Tickets for our concerts can be purchased online on the GO OUT portal, and occasionally on other platforms, at a discounted price. A direct link to purchase tickets online can be found for individual concerts in the program. Any remaining unsold tickets are available for purchase at the standard price one hour before the concert starts, payable in cash at the box office at the club entrance.
Children under 10 years old have free entry to our concerts.
Tickets for the club are strictly for standing. A certain number of seats are always available, but they are not guaranteed and cannot be reserved except for justified exceptions (disabled persons, advanced age), and are occupied on a first-come, first-served basis. The hall opens one hour before the concert begins.
