The band TAK CO? is a six-member indie rock group that debuted in 2000 with the album Utajený výtah (Secret Elevator) (on their own label, Lampion Music) and released the album Ministr nitra (Minister of the Interior) in early 2025, produced by Honza "Ponorka" Ponocný. The album features guest appearances by Emma Smetana (Dveře) and actor Hynek Čermák (Jeruzalém). The album received four reviews (iReport, musicserver, Magazín UNI, and Patriot), and several singles from the album premiered on the websites Headliner, Frontman, and musicserver. One of the reviewers, Roman Jireš, concludes his review of the album as follows: "This band is no longer a bunch of amateurs, but interesting creators of their own repertoire, which does not belong at a party, but in music clubs." Jiří V. Matýsek from musicserver writes in his review: "The recording sounds great and suits the band's distinctive sound. It immerses itself in club smoke and has the charm of those half-empty bars - such as the one sung about in the song "Chodí sem i doktor Foltýn" (Doctor Foltýn also comes here) - which draws on a melancholic view of life."
TAK CO? will perform a cross-section of their new work, with contributions from Jura Juráň – ten-time finalist in the Czech slam championship, psychotherapist, photographer of life's absurdities, designer coffin salesman, and cartoonist. The combination of original music and original slam creates a unique synergy, so that at the end, no one wants to go home.
