RADŮZA

Singer, multi-instrumentalist, composer, songwriter, and writer Radůza began her career with a predominantly blues-influenced repertoire on the streets, where she was discovered in 1993 by singer Zuzana Navarová. She can accompany herself on several musical instruments, her singing is thunderous, but she also gently tells moving stories. She composes stage and film music, writes lyrics and songs for herself and other performers (Lucie Bílá, Hana Zagorová, Karel Gott, František Segrado...). She has released a number of highly successful solo albums, which have broken sales records without any advertising, won several Golden Angel awards, and also scored in the Golden Nightingale poll.

In October 2023, in the year of her milestone birthday, she decided to take stock and released a double album entitled "Bylo nebylo" (Once Upon a Time), which contains a selection of the most successful songs she has composed during her thirty-year musical career. On last year's Christmas album "A žili šťastně až do smrti..." (And They Lived Happily Ever After...), Radůza seemed to want to finish the fairy tale she began writing on her previous compilation album.
