"We decided to try to return to where we came from, namely to a jazz club. And we will play the songs that have influenced us most on our musical journey," says Ondřej Ruml. The well-known charismatic singer has performed in musicals and theater, and also performs and composes with the jazz band Matěj Benko Quintet, with whom he recorded the critically and publicly acclaimed album "Ondřej Ruml zpívá Ježka, Voskovce a Wericha" (Ondřej Ruml Sings Ježek, Voskovec, and Werich).

The current concert repertoire also includes songs created in collaboration with Matěj Benko. This renowned pianist and his bands (trio, quartet, quintet) mainly play his own compositions, in which he combines elements of various musical genres. His work is characterized by rich melodies, extended forms, and frequent tempo changes. Other members include Pavel Bady Zbořil, a sought-after Czech jazz drummer known from J.A.R., and Rastislav Uhrík, a Slovak bass guitarist and double bass player, currently a member of the band Mig 21.
