Ondrej Pivec (also known as Ondra or Ondre J Pivec) is a Czech-American musician, composer and producer. He generally plays the keyboards but he is also known to master as one of the few chosen once a very rare instrument: the Hammond Organ. Czech waters were too tiny for this artist, so it didn't take too long before he settled down in New York City. It was there where he fell in love with R 'n B and soul, and gospel. He's also a renowned jazz musician.
His specialty is an unusual instrument, formerly developed to be used as "movable" organ for churches - the Hammond organ, but not the 80s synthetic, but the real, traditional B3 (or C3, or A100) organ (the kind that Jimmy Smith played). You can hear him play the Hammond Organ for example with the amazing American singer Gregory Porter together with whom Ondrej won the Grammy.
