Olomouc (o)žije 2026 - The Amoralist, Zavíráme, Krize Identity

The Olomouc (o)žije Festival was launched in 2021, when the center of Olomouc was flooded with over 60 musicians, buskers, and bands on a Friday afternoon in June, some of whom were accompanied by dance performances. It was one of the first major cultural events following the COVID-19 pandemic, aimed at revitalizing the city streets and bringing spontaneity and joy back to them.

This energy laid the foundation for the festival’s continuation in subsequent years, and this year will mark its sixth—and largest to date—edition.

Performances will take place in the Jazz Cafe garden on Friday, June 19, and Saturday, June 20.

Friday evening kicks off at 6:00 p.m. with bands whose music is rooted in rock and distinctive lyrics: The Amoralist at 6:00 p.m., Zavíráme at 7:30 p.m., and Krize Identity at 9:00 p.m.

On Saturday, we’ll meet the bands that have been a staple of Saturday afternoons and evenings since the festival’s very beginnings—the four-piece hard rock band My Own Star will play starting at 5:30 p.m., and the improvisational power rock trio Sugar and Spice Holding Company will take the stage at 8:00 p.m.
