Olomouc (a)live - Noční kolní + Noet, Mixed Emotions, Zavíráme
Olomouc (a)live festival was founded in 2021, when the centre of Olomouc was flooded with over 60 musicians, buskers and bands on a Friday afternoon in June, some of them accompanied by dance performances. It was one of the first major cultural events after the coronavirus pandemic, with the aim of reinvigorating the city's streets and bringing spontaneity and joy back into them.
This energy has given rise to the continuation of the festival in subsequent years and this year will be the 5th - and largest - edition to date.
There will be performances in the garden of the Jazz Cafe & Prosecco Bar on both Friday 20 June and Saturday 21 June.
Friday night will start at 6:00 p.m. and will feature bands whose work is based on a quieter soft rock sound and distinctive, Czech lyrics: Noční kolní + Noet, Mixed Emotions and Zavíráme.
On Saturday, we'll start at 5:00 p.m. with bands that have a harder sound and lyrics mostly (though not always) in English - the four-piece hard rock band My Own Star, and then the improvising power rock trio Sugar and Spice holding company from 7:00 p.m.
Tickets
Tickets for our concerts can be purchased online on the GO OUT portal, and occasionally on other platforms, at a discounted price. A direct link to purchase tickets online can be found for individual concerts in the program. Any remaining unsold tickets are available for purchase at the standard price one hour before the concert starts, payable in cash at the box office at the club entrance.
Children under 10 years old have free entry to our concerts.
Tickets for the club are strictly for standing. A certain number of seats are always available, but they are not guaranteed and cannot be reserved except for justified exceptions (disabled persons, advanced age), and are occupied on a first-come, first-served basis. The hall opens one hour before the concert begins.
