The band with its charismatic singing guitarist Alexandra Langosova has been appreciated for many years for its attractive rock songs, which in the past have earned it an Angel nomination, a win in iReport magazine's Ladder or an offer of joint concerts with David Gahan or Suzanne Vega.
The group is currently garnering rave reviews for its current record, which was released symbolically on the second of November last year. The editors of music magazine Headliner named it Album of the Year 2023 and the band is currently nominated in two categories for the Apollo Awards (for the album and single All Comes Down). MF Dnes also named the album as the domestic record of the year, as did music editor Jaroslav Špulák on the server novinky.cz. The album was also featured in a review of the best domestic albums in Lidové noviny or on Czech Radio Vltava.
If the previous musical material of the original Hranice band sounded like a tasteful mix of rock and songwriting, the new repertoire, according to music journalists, moves the band towards a rockier, blues-aggressive sound with influences of soul and electronics. This combination will also be heard in Olomouc's Jazz Tibet Club. In addition to Langosova, the band includes guitarist Roman Helcl, bassist Jakub Vejnar and drummer Petr Ptacek.
