The Notepecker ensemble, composed of young musicians, is mainly inspired by modern jazz, but is not afraid to delve into other genres or combine them with jazz. In addition to improvisation, their work is dominated by the inclusion of atypical, more experimental elements. The band has been on the scene for less than two years, yet they have already managed to record their first album Do That!, from which four singles have been released so far, which will be performed together with the remaining tracks at the album launch of Do That! at the Jazz Tibet Club.
How did the whole recording process go? Which “take” took the most time? How many people were involved in the whole process of making the album? And what did the guys do when they weren't recording? Then come to Jazz Tibet Club on June 6th!
