Trumpeter and producer Barabás Lörinc has been a major figure in jazz at the border of electronic music and a driving force in the improvisational music scene in Budapest in recent years. He has received international recognition at festivals such as the Montreux Jazz Festival, the iTunes Festival in London alongside Valerie June and for sharing the stage with Thievery Corporation, Bonobo and Erik Truffaz.
His solo project combines dance grooves, meditative moods and all the shades in between. On stage he juggles keyboards, trumpet, effects and looping. His concerts are always an exciting journey through unexpected modern tribal surfaces.
The concert takes place as part of the Czech-Hungarian Year, organized by the Statutory City of Olomouc, and with the support of the Institut Liszt - Hungarian Cultural Centre Prague and Magyar Villamos Művek Zrt.
