Electropop's Midi Lidi open up personal, existential, social themes with a large portion of hyperbole and irony. Hitmakers, showmen, lovers of subversive jokes and quirky motivational speakers have long since crossed the boundaries of the alternative scene. But their existential pop full of idiosyncratic humour still honours the approaches of the DIY scene.
Midi Lidi are known for their love of frequent concerts, they have played many concerts in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, but also in Poland, Russia, England, Germany, Spain and Croatia. Mostly with shame. In the Czech Republic and Slovakia, they are already one of the stalwarts of big festivals. At the same time they also perform as DJ's - Prokop and Tomas as Tomino & Myslivec, Petr and Johana Ožvold (KAZETY) as Disjockeys. The members of the band are widely spread between various artistic fields and are individually known on the Czech scene as filmmakers, actors, theatre artists, promoters, visual artists and graphic designers. It is worth mentioning the film work of Petr Marek ("Love from Above", "Not to be Today's", "Nothing Against Nothing"), his music videos for Midi Lidi, Ventolin ("Disco Science") or Načeva ("Technically Me"), participation in the theatre projects of LÁHOR/Soundsystem, Radio Ivo, Bruckner Siblings, Beruska Decadent Theatre and side and past music projects Monikino Kino, Muzikant Králíček, Kakaduo, 2Singles, Unarclub and music for the series Life and Times of Judge AK. Prokop Holoubek created the music for the animated evening cartoon "Mlsné medvědí příběhy".
