The digital singer-songwriter Mat213 drew attention for the first time with the track "7teen", which won both Apollo and Vinyl awards. The new album "Nesu oheň" is the sixth in his projects. For the mixing of the album he teamed up with Martin Hoffer (Skyline, EMA Prague) and Lukáš Turza (SNAP Mastering).
After sold out concerts in Prague and Brno he is heading to other cities. According to Mata213, this album is for people who sit on a bench and drink alcohol just to get drunk. They are smarter than their mates who make a lot of money, but convenience throws mucus on their ambition. The album is for people who have tried to take themselves seriously, but either can't or are just embarrassed at the idea. The album is for all the trolls Mat loves. "I don't want to make new, boundary-breaking stuff that no one has seen or heard. I want to do stuff that everyone has seen and heard, but I want to do it my way." This arrogantly confident statement holds hands with the desire to make popular music more for "the people." "It's a nasty condescending attitude that I try to temper with false modesty. It's disguised as self-awareness," says Mat213.
