KALLE

Fresh winners of the Andel Music Award in the Alternative and Electronica category. Mournfully beautiful music with one of the most beautiful voices of the Czech independent scene

Kalle is a Tábor-based band founded in 2013 by Veronika Buriánková and David Zeman. For both their albums Live from the Room (2014) and Saffron Hills (2017) they received the Anděl Award for Alternative as well as the Apollo Music Critics Award 2017. At the concert Kalle will present their third album Under the Black Moss, which was released at the end of last year. They will play in a new line-up with drummer Jiří Bendl (Manon Meurt, Mara Jade).

Under the Black Moss comes more than five years since the last Saffron Hills album. On this new release, the husband and wife team of Veronika Zeman and David Zeman naturally continue what they defined on their debut Live From The Room - to bring to the world music that is unique, uninhibited and very intimate, and which makes you feel the desire to do things their own way. The new recording was also created with their own help in the Truhlárna space in Tábor during the summer of 2022. The recording and mixing was done by David Zeman, and the mastering was done by Amák (Golden Hive Studio).

This program has already taken place.
