Ivan Hlas Trio
After some time, Jazz Tibet will once again welcome a chamber ensemble that has been performing alongside singer-songwriter Ivan Hlas for quite a while.
Hlas’s songs—based on a balance between music and poetic lyrics—shine brightest in these beautiful arrangements, embellished by virtuoso performances on acoustic instruments. The musicians are by no means newcomers to our scene; their joy in performing music with such directness is legendary. The roots influencing the trio’s music range from pub blues and urban ballads to rock ’n’ roll, all the way to melodic echoes of various ethnic traditions. It is folk music in the best sense of the word.
In Ivan Hlas’s trio, he is accompanied by guitarist Norbi Kovács and cellist Jaroslav Olin Nejezchleba.
Tickets
Tickets for our concerts can be purchased online on the GO OUT portal, and occasionally on other platforms, at a discounted price. A direct link to purchase tickets online can be found for individual concerts in the program. Any remaining unsold tickets are available for purchase at the standard price one hour before the concert starts, payable in cash at the box office at the club entrance.
Children under 10 years old have free entry to our concerts.
Tickets for the club are strictly for standing. A certain number of seats are always available, but they are not guaranteed and cannot be reserved except for justified exceptions (disabled persons, advanced age), and are occupied on a first-come, first-served basis. The hall opens one hour before the concert begins.
