Coals is a young duo formed by Kacha Kowalczyk and Łukasz Rozmysłowski. The band quickly gained recognition among listeners thanks to their home recordings, which they published on Youtube a few years ago. Coalsi have performed at numerous festivals abroad, including Positivus, Pohoda Festival, Tune In-Tel Aviv, Primavera Sound, and Iceland Airwaves. They also recorded a video session for the cult radio station KEXP at Kex Hostel in Reykjavik. In 2017, they released their warmly received debut Tamagotchi. The album was accompanied by a tour that included the Benelux countries, Germany, France, Austria, Czech Republic and Estonia. After Tamagotchi, Coalsi released the dreamy, approximately rap and somewhat experimental EP Klan (2019) written exclusively in Polish. Guest appearances on the EP included Schafter, Bella Ćwir and Kubi Producent. In 2020 the duo released their second full-length album "docusoap" under the PIAS label. On the album you can find references to contemporary alternative R&B, ambient and ASMR. The musicians also experiment with vocal processing. Modulations and voice transformations often give a hypnotic atmosphere to their songs. For this well-received album, the duo received nominations to Fryderyk and Empik Bestsellers.
At the concert, Coals will present their new album, which will be released at the beginning of November.
