BUDOÁR STARÉ DÁMY
If people can't get along, they could sing together! Martha and her father, Jiri, composed a hit song in which they encourage people to take action to help the planet. You can also enjoy this outside of their current repertoire at a special concert by the band Budoár staré dámy, which recorded the soundtrack to Marta's documentary The World According to My Dad.
On the Olomouc tour, they will screen the film, discuss and finally play with the band.
The band Budoár staré dámy was founded in 1998 and is considered to be a continuation of the traditions of Brno alternative rock. Their style is easily recognizable thanks to their energetic girl vocals, infectious melodies, poetic lyrics and unusual bending of Czech words. Marta Kovářová's intuitive, at times fragile, at times brutal vocal delivery is salted on stage by the guitar of Marek Laudát and cut by the rhythm of drummer Petr Fučík and bassist Tomáš Ergens. The joy of playing radiates from the concerts, the urgency of the songs is replaced by relaxing humour in the pauses between songs; when you never know what you will learn!
The band borrowed the name from their grandmother, who used to call her room that. The old lady became a muse for her grandchildren, who began to gather in the basement in a duo (guitar + buckets). Because the neighbor preferred a different genre, they had to leave the house. As they gained more space, they added more members. With a 3/5 female lineup, they broke men's hearts for 10 years and toured the European world. Now they play in a 1/4 female-only lineup - and they fill women's souls all the better!

Tickets
Tickets for our concerts can be purchased online on the GO OUT portal, and occasionally on other platforms, at a discounted price. A direct link to purchase tickets online can be found for individual concerts in the program. Any remaining unsold tickets are available for purchase at the standard price one hour before the concert starts, payable in cash at the box office at the club entrance.
Children under 10 years old have free entry to our concerts.
Tickets for the club are strictly for standing. A certain number of seats are always available, but they are not guaranteed and cannot be reserved except for justified exceptions (disabled persons, advanced age), and are occupied on a first-come, first-served basis. The hall opens one hour before the concert begins.
