Bratři Orffové (The Orff Brothers) have been performing since 2002. The band's name refers to the pioneers of Czechoslovak electronic music, the Orf brothers, as well as to the so-called Orff musical instruments. The lineup has changed over the years; today it consists of singer and guitarist Ivan Gajdoš, guitarist Lukáš Novotný, trumpeter Libor Martiník, drummer Petr Odstrčil, bassist Břetislav Koláček, and keyboardist and synthesizer player Zdeněk Henych.
The release of their debut album "Bingriwingri" in 2005 was hailed by the media as a major event on the domestic alternative scene. In 2023, Minority Records commemorated both of the band's albums with remastered vinyl editions. Orff perform only sporadically, but public interest in them remains undiminished. Even more than ten years after the release of the album "Šero," which won the Anděl Award and the Apollo Music Critics' Award for Best Album of 2013, the band continues to find new listeners and its work continues to resonate across generations. And perhaps in 2026, new songs will be added to their collection.
